This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how customers can cancel an order or request a refund for purchases made on www.thefigstory.com (“Platform”).
Since we sell a single consumable product (Fig Syrup 500g), our cancellation and refund guidelines are designed to ensure safety, hygiene, and fairness.


1. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can only be cancelled within 2 hours of placing the order.

  • Cancellation requests will not be accepted once the product has been packed or shipped.

  • If the product is already out for delivery, the cancellation cannot be processed — however, you may reject the order at delivery time.


2. Perishable Nature of Product

Our product Fig Syrup 500g is a consumable/perishable item.
Therefore:

  • We do not accept cancellation requests after shipment.

  • Cancellation is not allowed once the seal is broken or the product has been opened.


3. Damaged or Defective Product

If you receive a damaged, leaked, tampered, or defective product, you must:

  • Notify customer support within 48 hours (2 days) of delivery.

  • Share photos or videos of the unopened product, packaging, and shipping label.

Once verified by our quality team, we will provide:

✔ Replacement OR
✔ Full refund

(Depending on your preference and stock availability.)


4. Product Not as Expected

If you feel the product received is not as described or does not meet expectations, you must:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide relevant details (photos/videos)

After review, we will decide on:

✔ Replacement
✔ Discount coupon
✔ Refund (only in valid cases)


5. Manufacturer Warranty

Our Fig Syrup does not come with a manufacturer warranty, as it is a consumable product.


6. Refund Process

After your refund request is approved, we will process your refund within:

5–7 business days

Refunds will be sent via:

  • Original payment method (UPI, PhonePe, Card, Netbanking, Wallet), or

  • Bank Transfer (if required)

Time taken for the refund to reflect may vary by your bank/payment provider.


7. When Refunds Are Not Eligible

Refunds will NOT be issued if:

  • The product is opened, used, or tampered

  • The request is raised after 48 hours of delivery

  • The cancellation request is made after the product is shipped

  • The address provided by the customer is incorrect or undeliverable

  • The customer refuses delivery without valid reason


8. The replacement of the product will get delivered in 8 to 10 days .
